Saturday Morning Cartoons 1960s Volume 2 is good but not as great as Volume 1. This is because some real classic Hanna Barbera cartoons like Secret Squirrel and Winsome Witch are missing and have been replaced by Looney Tunes already available on the Looney Tunes editions. Overall though, Saturday Morning Cartoons 1960s Volume 2 is a fun 2 DVD set.
Another difference between Volume 1 and 2 of 1960s Cartoons is some of the shows included. Here you get an episodeof Space Kidettes, Young Samson and Goliath, and The Adventures of Gulliver. This makes for a nice trip down sugary cereal memory lane for fans of the show.

Warner Brothers does warn the customer in an opening screen that some of these cartoons are not pristine and come from the best available prints. Unless you are picky, at worst you get dust artefacts on the print and some scenes are a bit darker than the previous one. Think well watched VHS quality if you wish.
Other cartoons on the 2 DVD Saturday Morning Cartoons Volume 2 set include The Bugs Bunny Show with a Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, and a Tweety Bird cartoon. The Porky Pig Show includes the classic Porky and Sylvester where Porky registers in a haunted hotel. You would think WB would use the print used for the Looney Tunes Collection but they did not, choosing an inferior print instead. DVD 1 also includes a Jetsons episode.
DVD 2 has Quick Draw McGraw, the lesser The Peter Potamus Show with Breezly and Sneezly and Yippee Yappee and Yahooey and one of my favorites, Atom Ant with a Precious Pupp and Hillbilly Bears Show. The Atom Ant cartoon would probably not air in these politically correct times. It also includes The Tom and Jerry Show from its lesser Hanna Barbera days and The Magilla Gorilla Show which includes a Punkin’ Puss and a Ricochet Rabbit cartoon).
If you grew up watching these cartoons on Saturday morning, Volume 2 is a lot of fun but not the best fun available. Cocoa Puffs not included.
